Common use of Marine and Fisheries Clause in Contracts

The Parties shall encourage marine and fisheries cooperation, at bilateral and multilateral level, particularly with a view to promoting sustainable and responsible marine and fisheries development and management. Areas of cooperation may include: a) the exchange of information; b) supporting sustainable and responsible long term marine and fisheries policy including conservation and management of coastal and marine resources; and c) promoting efforts to prevent and combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing practices.
