Market Surveillance. The Parties shall: (a) exchange views on market surveillance and enforcement activities; (b) ensure that market surveillance functions are carried out by the competent authorities and that no conflicts of interest exist between the market surveillance function and the conformity assessment function; and (c) ensure that there are no conflicts of interest between market surveillance bodies and the economic operators subject to control or supervision.
