The Materials and Construction clause defines the standards and requirements for the materials used and the methods of construction in a project. 2. Braille / Tactile Components: PETG-backed photopolymer with raised characters and Braille of minimum 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) depth/thickness. Braille/tactile plaques shall contain a minimum of 40% recycled content.

Materials and Construction. Structure of the doors, their attachments, inside and outside trim panels, and any mechanism exposed to the elements shall be corrosion-resistant. The door panels shall be constructed of a sturdy, corrosion resistant, aluminum, extruded aluminum or stainless steel frame with bonded aluminum panel or glazing design. The door panel finish shall be powder coat. The doors, when fully opened, shall provide a firm support and shall not be damaged if used as an assist by passengers during ingress or egress. The seal of the front leaves of the passenger doors shall overlap the seal of the rear leaves. Front door clear width shall be no less than 32 34 inches with the doors fully opened. When open, the door shall leave an opening no less than 75 78 inches in height.
