Materials Testing. The requested services consist, in general, of materials testing to assure compliance with contract specifications for construction of new or rehabilitation of existing roadways, flood control channels, parks, or other infrastructure projects. Certain related support services as described herein may also be requested. This General Scope of Work contains the types of work that may be required including, but not limited to, the following:
Materials Testing. All materials and packaging supplies shall, when received by DPT, be submitted to analysis and evaluation in accordance with DPT’s SOP’s to determine whether or not said materials meet the Specifications. The cost of all such analyses and evaluations shall be borne by DPT, except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2.2 of this Agreement. DPT agrees to maintain and, if necessary, make available records of all such analyses and evaluations.
Materials Testing. All installation, wiring, and cabling requirements identified in the Purchase Order/ SOW must be satisfied. All materials must be tested, functional and certified, based on ANSI/TIA/EIA installation requirements and approved by the Purchaser and/or Purchaser’s on- site coordinator prior to acceptance for payment. Minimum testing of copper cable is to include Wire Map, continuity, NEXT and attenuation in accordance with the most current ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 standard. Minimum testing for fiber cable is to include testing the attenuation and polarity of the installed cable with an optical loss test set (OLTS) and the installed condition of the fiber cabling with an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR). Multi-mode and single-node backbone links shall be tested in accordance with the appropriate current ANSI/TIA and industry standards.
Materials Testing. TS-15 The Managing Official has the right to ask the contractor to accompany the required materials with a testing certificate from the source either from the manufacturer or a laboratory approved by the Managing Official. See also 2.10.3 Implementing documents, 2.13.1 Preliminary technical acceptance (Art. 41 -42) and Acceptance of the works performed (Art. 64-65 and 91-92) of the tender specifications.
Materials Testing. Developer shall pay for and coordinate with City to have all material tests within the public right-of-way and any asphalt paving completed by City’s Material Testing Laboratory.
Materials Testing. Utility shall have the right to test materials used in Construction of Utility Facilities by MTA's Contractors, upon 24 hours prior written notice to MTA and the Contractor. MTA shall have the right to have its witnesses attend all such tests. Utility shall provide copies of the testing reports within 24 hours after each test, as well as providing to MTA access to the samples used and to the testing laboratory for inspection of its equipment. Testing shall be authorized by MTA under an appropriate Work Order, and the costs thereof, including any travel expenses incurred for off-site inspection and testing, shall be considered Costs of Rearrangement.
Materials Testing. The Contractor shall deliver to the District Representative upon request, without charge to the District, and properly marked for identification purposes, all material test samples or specimens that are required pursuant to the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall pay all costs incurred in preparing, wrapping, protecting, transporting and/or mailing of required samples or specimens.
Materials Testing. University will contract with soils and materials testing laboratories upon Design Professional’s recommendations and as required by the Specifications. University’s Representative or the University’s Representative’s delegate will coordinate the activities of Contractor and University’s testing consultants.
Materials Testing. The Engineer shall provide their own in-house testing services or subcontract with a certified materials testing firm to provide laboratory and onsite testing of earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete reinforcement, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, mortar, concrete masonry units, painting, structural steel, concrete sealers and other applicable materials of construction. The Engineer shall review and approve material testing reports submitted by the material testing firm to determine if test reports meet the requirements of the drawings and specifications and will maintain one set of the material testing reports for the Owner’s file.
Materials Testing. For each lot of materials supplied by COMPANY, DPT shall perform the quality control and inspection tests as set forth in the Specifications unless COMPANY has made arrangements in writing to supply pre-approved material. All materials and Packaging supplies shall, when received by DPT, be submitted for analysis and evaluation in accordance with DPT’s SOPs to determine whether or not said materials or Packaging supplies meet the Specifications. DPT shall have the right to reject any pre-approved material which does not conform with the Specifications. The cost of all such analyses and evaluations shall be borne by DPT except as otherwise provided in Section 2.3 of this Agreement. DPT agrees to maintain and, if necessary, make available records of all such analyses and evaluations.
