Materials Testing Sample Clauses

Materials Testing. All materials and packaging supplies shall, when received by DPT, be submitted to analysis and evaluation in accordance with DPT’s SOP’s to determine whether or not said materials meet the Specifications. The cost of all such analyses and evaluations shall be borne by DPT, except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2.2 of this Agreement. DPT agrees to maintain and, if necessary, make available records of all such analyses and evaluations.

Materials Testing. The requested services consist, in general, of materials testing to assure compliance with contract specifications for construction of new or rehabilitation of existing roadways, flood control channels, parks, or other infrastructure projects. Certain related support services as described herein may also be requested. This General Scope of Work contains the types of work that may be required including, but not limited to, the following:
Materials Testing. All installation, wiring, and cabling requirements identified in the Purchase Order/ SOW must be satisfied. All materials must be tested, functional and certified, based on ANSI/TIA/EIA installation requirements and approved by the Purchaser and/or Purchaser’s on- site coordinator prior to acceptance for payment. Minimum testing of copper cable is to include Wire Map, continuity, NEXT and attenuation in accordance with the most current ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 standard. Minimum testing for fiber cable is to include testing the attenuation and polarity of the installed cable with an optical loss test set (OLTS) and the installed condition of the fiber cabling with an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR). Multi-mode and single-node backbone links shall be tested in accordance with the appropriate current ANSI/TIA and industry standards.
Materials Testing. TS-15 The Managing Official has the right to ask the contractor to accompany the required materials with a testing certificate from the source either from the manufacturer or a laboratory approved by the Managing Official. See also 2.10.3 Implementing documents, 2.13.1 Preliminary technical acceptance (Art. 41 -42) and Acceptance of the works performed (Art. 64-65 and 91-92) of the tender specifications.
Materials Testing. Developer shall pay for and coordinate with City to have all material tests within the public right-of-way and any asphalt paving completed by City’s Material Testing Laboratory.

Materials Testing. The Regional District will arrange and pay for all geotechnical, concrete, and asphalt materials testing where the results of such tests meet, or exceed, the requirements of the Contract Specifications. The Regional District will advise the Contractor of the testing schedule and the Contractor will co-operate fully with the Regional District and the Testing Firm to ensure that all tests are completed before the Contractor’s work continues. The Contractor will reimburse the Regional District for all materials and installation tests which have been completed by the Regional District and which subsequently fail to meet the requirements of the Contract Specifications. Payment to the Regional District will be made by having the costs of the failed tests deducted from the Contractor's progress and/or final payment.

The Engineer shall review and approve material testing reports submitted by the material testing firm to determine if test reports meet the requirements of the drawings and specifications and will maintain one set of the material testing reports for the Owner’s file.
