MEDIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Scottish Opera and the Musicians’ Union have a Media Terms and Conditions Agreement applicable to the permanent musicians within the Orchestra. Some aspects of the Agreement are also relevant to Extras and Deputies as follows:- 8.1 The fee paid incorporates payment for the following; - ▪ Electronic Press Kits (EPK); recordings of rehearsals and performances in audio/visual format, for non-commercial / news access /promotional or educational purposes only. ▪ Audio-visual Recordings of dress rehearsals for archive or technical purposes. 8.2 Payment of the appropriate MU rate will apply for commercial activity as per the following: - ▪ An audio-visual or audio-only recording of a Main scale production or concert, ▪ Studio sessions
