Medication Administration. In the case that it is necessary for the registered nurse to delegate medication administration to a teacher (i.e. administering ADD medication or an EpiPen on a field trip) the delegated teacher will receive proper and timely training prior to performing the task. The teacher will receive support from the registered nurse until the teacher is comfortable performing the task and is deemed competent in the task by the registered nurse.
