Common use of Member Contributions Clause in Contracts

Member Contributions. A Member subject to this Appendix E shall be required to make a Member Contribution each pay period equal to six percent (6%) of such Member’s Earnings for that pay period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no Member Contributions shall be required with regard to a Member who has completed sufficient Years of Service such that his or her Normal Retirement Benefit as described in Section 3 below would be subject to the maximum percentage if the Member were to retire immediately.
