Common use of Merchant Refunds Clause in Contracts

Merchant Refunds. A merchant refund to your Account will post to your Account as a credit. We don't control when a merchant sends an Account credit. We'll choose how to apply the credit to your existing Account balances. If a credit creates a credit balance on your Account, we'll mail you a check for the amount of the credit balance. Note: Merchant Surcharges. Some merchants, including merchants outside of the U.S., may charge you a fee to use your Card for a Purchase. The fee will be either a percentage of the amount of your Purchase, or a flat fee, and will be added to the amount of your Purchase. Usually, a merchant will tell you about this fee before you use your Card, but not always. We don't control these fees, and can't prevent them.
