MERGERS AND REORGANISATIONS. 1. In accordance with the Merger Code 2000 of the Social and Economic Council (SER) and the code of conduct it contains, temporary employment agencies will inform the contracting parties in good time of any proposed mergers and reorganisations, irrespective of the number of employees concerned, and give them the opportunity to make recommendations. 2. The contracting parties must be immediately informed by a temporary employment agency of any application for court protection from creditors (suspension of payments) and of the filing of any petition for liquidation.
