Methods and Modalities. Economic cooperation shall be implemented in particular by:
(a) a regular economic dialogue between the Parties, which covers all areas of macro-economic policy and in particular budgetary policy, the balance of payments and monetary policy;
(b) regular exchange of information and ideas in every sector of cooperation including meetings of officials and experts;
(c) transfer of advice, expertise and training;
(d) implementation of joint actions such as seminars and workshops;
(e) technical, administrative and regulatory assistance;
(f) encouragement of joint ventures;
(g) dissemination of information on cooperation.
Methods and Modalities. Economic cooperation shall be implemented in particular by:
(a) a regular economic dialogue between the Parties, which covers all areas of economic policy and, in particular, fiscal policy, balance of payments and monetary policy, and which shall enhance close collaboration between the authorities concerned with economic policy, each in their respective areas of competence within the Association Council or any other forum designated by the Association Council;
(b) a regular exchange of information and ideas in every sector of cooperation including meetings of officials and experts;
(c) transfer of advice, expertise and training;
(d) implementation of joint actions such as seminars and workshops;
(e) technical, administrative and regulatory assistance;
(f) the dissemination of information on cooperation.
Methods and Modalities. 1. The Agreements concluded between the Parties in the fields of the economic, commercial, technical and scientific co-operation shall be implemented without prejudicing the provisions of this Agreement.
2. The Parties shall further determine the methods and modalities for economic co-operation and technical assistance; in particular within the work of the Association Council referred in Article 40. In this regard, the Association Council may decide to establish sub-committees.
3. Economic co-operation and technical assistance shall be implemented in particular by:
(a) regular exchange of information and ideas in every sector of co-operation including meetings of officials and experts;
(b) encouragement of reciprocal participation in fairs and exhibitions;
(c) transfer of advice, expertise and training;
(d) implementation of joint actions such as seminars and workshops;
(e) technical, administrative and regulatory assistance;
(f) encouragement and establishment of joint ventures;
(g) dissemination of information on co-operation;
(h) exchange of information in economic, scientific and technical field;
(i) granting scholarships in various fields of technical and scientific co-operation.
4. Projects relating to economic, scientific and technical cooperation applications shall be arranged by individual programs, agreements and contracts which will be concluded between the participating companies and establishments of the Parties in accordance with their respective legislation in force.
5. The matters relating to the providing of expert, advisor and other technical persons by the Parties shall be arranged by individual protocols to be concluded between the competent authorities of the Parties.
Methods and Modalities. 1. In the field of economic cooperation, priority shall be given to the areas raised by the Palestinian Authority.
2. The Parties shall further determine the methods and modalities for economic cooperation and technical assistance, in particular within the work of the Joint Committee referred in Article 42. In this regard, the Joint Committee may decide to establish sub-committees.
3. Economic cooperation and technical assistance shall be implemented in particular by:
a) regular exchange of information and ideas in every sector of cooperation including meetings of officials and experts;
b) encouragement of reciprocal participation in fairs and exhibitions;
c) transfer of advice, expertise and training;

e) technical, administrative and regulatory assistance;

The Parties shall co-operate with the objective of identifying and employing the most effective means to improve significantly education and vocational training, in particular with regard to public and private enterprises, trade-related services, public administrations and authorities, technical agencies, standardisation and certification bodies and other relevant organisations. In this context, the access of women to higher education and training will receive special attention. Co-operation shall also encourage the establishment of links between specialised bodies in the Community and in Egypt and shall promote the exchange of information and experience and the pooling of technical resources. Co-operation shall have the objective of:
(a) encouraging the establishment of durable links between the scientific communities of the Parties, notably through: • the access of Egypt to Community R&D programmes, in conformity with existing provisions concerning the participation of third countries; • the participation of Egypt in networks of decentralised co-operation; • the promotion of synergy between training and research;
(b) strengthening research capacity in Egypt;
(c) stimulating technological innovation, transfer of new technologies, and dissemination of know-how.

In particular, for the identification, development and implementation of projects, the Parties may use instruments and modalities, such as exchange of information, experiences and best practices, technical assistance and refundable and non-refundable financial cooperation including the triangular cooperation among others.
