Middle and Secondary. a. Full-time middle and secondary teachers assigned full-time to classroom instruction and learning assistance teachers shall be entitled to a minimum of 12 ½ % of total instructional time for preparation. b. Teachers in semestered schools, who are replacing teachers who have used the yearly allotment of preparation time for that assignment, shall not be entitled to preparation time. c. When scheduling makes partial preparation time assignment impractical, salaries shall be increased on a pro rated basis.
