MINE CLOSURE PLAN. The Operator or any Participant may, at any time following a period of at least ninety (90) days during which Mining Operations have been suspended, upon at least thirty (30) days notice to all Participants, recommend that the Management Committee approve the permanent termination of Mining Operations. The Operator's recommendation shall include a plan and budget (called the "Mine Closure Plan"), in reasonable detail, of the activities to be performed to close the mine and reclaim the Property and the estimated cost to implement the Mine Closure Plan. The Management Committee may, by approval of the representatives of all Participants, approve the Operator's recommendation with such changes to the Mine Closure Plan as the Management Committee deems necessary. If the Management Committee does not approve the Operator's recommendation the Operator shall maintain Mining Operations in accordance with the Mine Maintenance Plan as approved pursuant to subsection 15.1 herein. Upon Mine Closure, the title shall revert back to Siga and/or his assigns.
MINE CLOSURE PLAN. TNCL submitted, pursuant to the Mining Act 14 of 2010 (Cap. 123) (as amended) and the Mining (Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection) Regulations 2010, a mine closure plan to the Mining Commission at the time of application for the Special Mining Licence, with such mine closure plan prepared in compliance with the requirements of the Mine Closure Guidelines 2019.

The Board may approve the Operator’s recommendation with such changes to the Mine Closure Plan as the Board deems reasonably necessary.
