Minimum Insurance Required. The Contractor and its subcontractors, if any, shall procure and maintain, until all of Contract obligations have been fully discharged, including any warranty period, all insurance required in Section 7 with an insurance company duly licensed in Washington State with an A.M. Best Company ratings of not less than A-VIII and a category rating of not less than “8”, with policies and forms satisfactory to the County. Use of alternative insurers requires prior written approval from the County. Coverage limits shall be at minimum the limits identified in Section 7, or the limits available under the policies maintained by the Contractor without regard to the Contract, whichever is greater.‌
