Common use of Minimum Necessary Use and Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Minimum Necessary Use and Disclosure. In conducting functions and/or activities under this Agreement that involve the use and/or disclosure of Protected Health Information, Business Associate shall make reasonable and diligent efforts to limit the use and/or disclosure of Protected Health Information to the minimum amount of information necessary as determined by Covered Entity to accomplish the intended purpose of the use or disclosure.
