Common use of Minority and Women-Owned Contractors Clause in Contracts

Minority and Women-Owned Contractors. Borrower shall use its best efforts to afford minority-owned and women-owned business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the Rehabilitation. Borrower shall, at a minimum, notify applicable minority-owned and women-owned business firms located in Contra Costa County of bid opportunities for the Rehabilitation. A listing of minority-owned and women-owned businesses located in the County and neighboring counties is available from the County. Documentation of such notifications must be maintained by Borrower and available to the County upon request.
