MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY. 3.1 You are normally able to retain Your existing mobile number when You change mobile service providers. If You wish to retain Your existing mobile number, You acknowledge that: a. You are authorised to request the porting of the mobile number to Us; b. By porting the mobile number to Us, the mobile service and/or any related services associated with that mobile number may or may not be disconnected from Your previous mobile service provider, and may result in finalisation of the account for that service; and c. For the purposes of porting Your mobile number, call and message routing, fault management and fraud prevention, You permit Us to disclose relevant details set out above to other service providers. 3.2 Although You have the right to port the mobile number: a. There may be costs and obligations associated with Your previous mobile service and the porting of the mobile number; b. If You have an existing long term contract with Your previous mobile service provider You may be obliged to make early termination payments to that provider; c. Porting may be unsuccessful if You fail to provide full and accurate details to Us, or if You cancel Your mobile service with Your previous service provider before the port cutover date; d. If another service provider raises a proper charge with Us relating to a service it provided to You before the porting of Your mobile number to Us, We will advise You accordingly and You must pay the other supplier that amount. If You dispute the amount claimed, You must notify Us in writing. You may also be liable to pay to Us or Your previous service provider charges relating to disputes or investigations by Us or Your previous service provider arising out of the transfer of Your mobile phone service to Us; e. We will not accept any liability for any amounts owing by You to another service provider for services associated with the mobile number prior to the date on which We port Your mobile number to Us; and f. You hereby authorise Us to take all reasonable steps necessary to port Your mobile number.

If another (ii) you may only Port a Mobile Number for which you are the authorised and duly registered holder of the Mobile Number; (iii) only active Mobile Numbers are eligible for Porting. Mobile Numbers which have been suspended, terminated, blacklisted on the defaulters’ database and/or barred shall not be eligible for Porting; (iv) you are only allowed to Port the Mobile Number and not the telecommunications network services; (v) the Mobile Numbers requested for Porting by you must be in the range of Mobile Numbers as approved by SKMM from time to time; (vi) Mobile Number Porting is subject to existing geographical numbering requirements; (vii) the requirements in the MNP code and any bilateral agreements made between us and other mobile cellular service provider raises must be met before you may Port your Mobile Number; (viii) NET2ONE may, upon receipt of a proper charge Port request from you, notify you by way of SMS the progress of your Port request; (ix) any balance of credit you had with Us relating to a NET2ONE or your previous mobile cellular service it provided to You before the porting of Your mobile number to Us, We will advise You accordingly and You must pay the other supplier that amountprovider shall be forfeited. If You dispute the amount claimed, You must notify Us in writing. You may also NET2ONE shall not be liable and/or responsible to pay you or any third party authorised by or claiming through you for such forfeiture of any balance of credit; (x) any fee paid for Porting are non-refundable; (xi) NET2ONE does not guarantee or warrant that your Mobile Number can be Ported from your previous mobile/fixed cellular service provider to Us or its fixed cellular network. Your previous mobile/fixed cellular service provider charges relating may reject your request to disputes Port if the information you provided is incorrect or investigations does not match the data held by Us or Your previous service provider arising out of the transfer of Your mobile phone service to Us; e. We will not accept any liability for any amounts owing by You to another service provider for services associated with the mobile number prior to the date on which We port Your mobile number to Us; and f. You hereby authorise Us to take all reasonable steps necessary to port Your mobile numberthem.

Your previous mobile mobile/fixed cellular service provider may reject your request to Port if the information you provided is incorrect or does not match the data held by them. 10.2 You expressly, irrevocably and unconditionally consent, acknowledge and agree that your request to ALTEL to Port your Mobile Number represents a notice to terminate your subscription with your previous mobile/fixed cellular service provider. ALTEL shall not be held responsible or liable for any unsuccessful termination of your subscription with your previous mobile/fixed cellular service provider and the resulting failure to Port with ALTEL. 10.3 In the event of a Port to ALTEL, or Port withdrawal or Port reversal to ALTEL or your previous mobile/fixed cellular service provider, and may result ALTEL:- (i) is not responsible for any period of outage of your service or any related ancillary services; (ii) is not liable to you or any person third party authorised by or claiming through you for any damage, loss, costs or expenses or other liability in finalisation contract or tort or otherwise direct or indirect, for or in relation to the Port, or Port withdrawal or Port reversal, for any reason whatsoever; (iii) will not refund the Porting fee. 10.4 Acceptance of the account for that service; andTerms and Conditions will only be effective upon activation of the Ported number by the ALTEL c. For the purposes of porting Your mobile number, call and message routing, fault management and fraud prevention, 10.5 You permit Us expressly authorise ALTEL to disclose relevant details set out above provide information regarding your Mobile Number to be disclosed to other telecommunication service providers. 3.2 Although You have the right providers to port the mobile number: a. There may be costs and obligations associated with Your previous mobile service and the porting of the mobile number; b. If You have an existing long term contract with Your previous mobile service provider You may be obliged to make early termination payments to that provider; c. Porting may be unsuccessful if You fail to provide full and accurate details to Us, or if You cancel Your mobile service with Your previous service provider before the port cutover date; d. If another service provider raises a proper charge with Us relating to a service it provided to You before the porting of Your mobile number to Us, We will advise You accordingly and You must pay the other supplier that amount.
