Common use of Modifications and Omissions Clause in Contracts

Modifications and Omissions. 4.1 Except as otherwise expressly provided, the Schedules and Conditions of the Contract are to be taken as mutually explanatory of one another. In case of ambiguities, discrepancies or inconsistencies the same shall be explained and adjusted by the Council acting through the Supervising Officer, who shall thereupon issue to the Contractor appropriate instructions in writing and the Contractor shall carry out and be bound by such instructions. Any adjustment to the Service arising there from shall be treated as a modification pursuant to this Condition.
