Common use of Modifications to the Vehicle Clause in Contracts

Modifications to the Vehicle. 8.1. The Lessee may not change the nature, purpose or interior of the Vehicle. 8.2. Adding additional accessories and making improvements or changes to the Vehicle (such as changes to the mechanics or bodywork, fitting a tow bar, advertising, etc.) may only be carried out with the express prior written agreement of DirectLease. Additional accessories and changes are at the Lessee's expense. At the end of the Lease agreement, only those accessories that the Lessee has installed at his own expense, and the removal of which does not result in any damage, may be removed. The removal is at the Lessee's expense and risk; any damage resulting from removal will be borne by the Lessee. DirectLease is not obliged to pay any compensation for accessories which may not be removed in accordance with this provision, or for property that is left behind in the Vehicle.
