Common use of Mortgagee’s and Receiver’s indemnity Clause in Contracts

Mortgagee’s and Receiver’s indemnity. The Owner hereby agrees and undertakes to indemnify the Mortgagee and any Receiver against all losses, actions, claims, expenses, demands, obligations and liabilities whatever and whenever arising which may now or hereafter be incurred by the Mortgagee or any such Receiver, or by any manager, agent, officer or employee for whose liability, act or omission it or he may be answerable, in respect of, in relation to, or in connection with anything done or omitted in the exercise or purported exercise of the powers contained in the Mortgage, this Deed, or otherwise in connection therewith and herewith or with any part of the Mortgaged Property or otherwise howsoever in relation to, or in connection with, any of the matters dealt with in the Mortgage or this Deed.
