Nature of Covenants. Officer’s covenants in Section 6 are independent covenants, and the existence of any claim by Officer against the Company under this Agreement or otherwise will not excuse Officer’s breach of, or waive Officer’s obligation to perform, any covenant in this Section 6. If Officer’s employment hereunder terminates for any reason, or the Employment Term expires, this Section 6, and the other terms and conditions of this Agreement necessary or appropriate to enforce the covenants of Officer in Section 6, shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
