Common use of Nature of Program Clause in Contracts

Nature of Program. This Program shall become a part of the GTE Executive Salary Deferral Plan and any successors to that plan. By its terms, this Program shall apply only to those participants in the GTE Executive Salary Deferral Plan who have waived any entitlement they might otherwise have to certain payments and/or other benefits as a result of the merger involving GTE Corporation and Bell Atlantic Corporation.
