Common use of Nature of Restrictions Clause in Contracts

Nature of Restrictions. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to prevent the Employee from engaging in a lawful profession, trade, or business after the termination of this Agreement. This Agreement shall be construed only as one which prohibits the Employee from engaging in acts which are unfair to the Company, and which are in violation of the confidence and trust reposed in the Employee by the Company with respect to their Confidential Information and intellectual property.
