Network Interconnection Methods. 59.1 This Section sets forth the terms and conditions for Network Interconnection Methods (NIMs) provided between CenturyLink and CLEC for the Interconnection Facilities established between the Parties’ networks. Additionally, this Section describes the physical architecture for the Interconnection of the Parties’ facilities and equipment required for the transmission and routing of Local Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, IntraLATA LEC Toll Traffic, VoIP-PSTN Traffic, Transit Traffic and Jointly Provided Switched Access Service Traffic.
Network Interconnection Methods. 64.1 This Section sets forth the terms and conditions for Network Interconnection Methods (NIMs) provided between CenturyLink and CLEC for the Interconnection Facilities established between the Parties’ networks. Additionally, this Section describes the physical architecture for the interconnection of the Parties’ facilities and equipment required for the transmission and routing of Local Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, IntraLATA LEC Toll Traffic, VoIP-PSTN Traffic, Transit Traffic and Jointly Provided Switched Access Service Traffic. 64.2 CenturyLink shall provide Interconnection for CLEC’s facilities and equipment for the transmission and routing of Local Traffic and IntraLATA LEC Toll Traffic , at a level of quality equal to that which CenturyLink provides to itself and Affiliates and on rates, terms and conditions that are just, reasonable and non- discriminatory.
Network Interconnection Methods. 2.1 Interconnection shall be provided at a level of quality equal to that which AT&T-21STATE provides to itself, to any Affiliates, or to any other Telecommunications Carrier. 2.1.1 In the event that a Party deploys new switches after the Effective Date of the Agreement, such Party will provide reasonable advance notice of such change to the other Party, and the Parties will work cooperatively to accomplish all necessary network changes. 2.1.2 WSP may designate the interface it wants to receive from the following: Trunk Side terminations at voice grade, DS0 or DS1 level. 2.1.3 WSP and AT&T-21STATE will interconnect directly in each LATA in which they exchange IntraMTA Traffic and Switched Access Services traffic. AT&T-21STATE does not provide Inter-tandem switching. 2.1.4 Facilities will be planned for in accordance with the trunk forecasts exchanged between the Parties, as described in Section 3.3 below. 2.2 Point Of Interconnection (“POI”) Options: 2.2.1 WSP and AT&T-21STATE shall mutually agree on a POI for each Facility that has Trunks that are used to carry traffic between their respective networks. The location of POIs will be as follows: 2.2.1.1 For WSP mobile-to-land traffic to AT&T-21STATE, the POI will be at the AT&T-21STATE Wire Center where the Facilities terminate; 2.2.1.2 For AT&T-21STATE land-to-mobile traffic to WSP, the POI will be at WSP’s office where the Facilities terminate; or 2.2.1.3 Any other mutually agreeable location. 2.2.2 A POI shall not be located across a LATA boundary, nor outside of AT&T-21STATE’s franchise service area, nor more than a distance of fourteen (14) miles from the AT&T-21STATE Central Office Switch where the Facility connection is established (or outside the state’s defined local calling area, whichever is greater). WSP is responsible for the cost of Trunks and Facilities beyond fourteen (14) miles (or outside the state’s defined local calling area, whichever is greater).
Network Interconnection Methods. 2.1 Upon request by MCIm, AT&T ILLINOIS shall provide interconnection for the facilities and equipment of MCIm with AT&T ILLINOIS’ network for the transmission and routing of Telephone Exchange Service and Exchange Access at any Technically Feasible POI inside the geographical areas in which AT&T ILLINOIS is the Incumbent LEC and within AT&T ILLINOIS' network. The interconnection must be at least equal in quality to that provided by AT&T ILLINOIS to itself or to any subsidiary, Affiliate, or any Third Party to which AT&T ILLINOIS provides Interconnection. AT&T ILLINOIS shall provide Interconnection on rates, terms and conditions that are just, reasonable and nondiscriminatory in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the requirements of the Act. 2.2 In accordance with the requirements of this Agreement, the Parties shall establish POI(s) at any Technically Feasible point inside the geographical areas in which AT&T ILLINOIS is the Incumbent LEC and within AT&T ILLINOIS' network by any Technically Feasible means established herein, including, but not limited to, a Fiber Meet. 2.3 If MCIm determines to establish new or change existing Interconnection arrangements with AT&T ILLINOIS, it will provide written notice of the need to establish or change such Interconnection to AT&T ILLINOIS. Upon receipt of MCIm’s notice to interconnect, the Parties shall within thirty (30) days or other mutually agreed to timeframe schedule a meeting to negotiate and mutually agree on the network architecture (including trunking). The Interconnection Activation date will be mutually agreed upon and will begin based on a reasonable schedule established at these meetings. 2.4 If either Party deploys additional Tandems and/or End Office switches in a LATA after the Effective Date or otherwise wishes to establish Interconnection with additional switches in such LATA, the Parties will work cooperatively to establish such Interconnection. 2.5 MCIm is solely responsible for the facilities that carry OS/DA, 911, and Meet-Point trunk groups. 2.6 The physical architecture plan will, at a minimum, include the location of MCIm’s switch(es) and AT&T ILLINOIS’ End Office switch(es) and/or Tandem switch(es) to be interconnected, the facilities that will connect the two networks and which Party will provide (be financially responsible for) the Interconnection facilities. 2.7 The Parties will designate Points of Interconnection for demarcation of the Parties’ networks for p...

Network Interconnection Methods. 2.1 Interconnection shall be provided at a level of quality equal to that which AT&T MICHIGAN provides to itself, to any Affiliates, or to any other Telecommunications Carrier. The Interconnection provided herein may not be used solely for the purpose of originating a Party’s own InterMTA Traffic. 2.1.1 The Parties may utilize any method of Interconnection described in this Attachment. Unless otherwise specified in this Attachment, each Party is financially responsible for the provisioning of facilities on its side of the POI(s). Each Party is responsible for the appropriate sizing, operation and maintenance of the transport facility to its side of the POI(s). The Parties agree to provide sufficient facilities for the trunk groups as set forth in Section 4.0 below for the exchange of traffic between Sprint and AT&T MICHIGAN.
