Common use of Networking Clause in Contracts

Networking. 16.1 An entity will be permitted to network its Channels in its own network, within the country. However, it is also to be ensured that at least 20% of the total broadcast in a day (reckoned from 0000 hrs to 2400 hrs), is in the local language of that city and promotes local content. This may include the Radio Jockey speaking in local language(s)/ dialect(s) or programmes focused on local culture/ tradition/folk music etc. or other permissible programmes/advertisements in the local language(s)/dialect(s). 16.2 No two entities shall be permitted to network any of their channels in any category of cities. Note: The permission holder companies referred to in Note-1 below Para 8.1 of policy guidelines dated 25.07.2011 shall be treated as a single entity for the purposes of this Clause.
