New Permanent Assignment in Lower Job Classification. If a permanent employee accepts a position in a lower wage rate, that permanent employee shall receive the hire-in rate for the job classification for the first four (4) months in the assignment unless the employee previously worked for four (4) months in the job classification or the Board determines that the employee is qualified based on previous Board work experience.
