No Additional Right; Ratable Prepayment Sample Clauses
The "No Additional Right; Ratable Prepayment" clause establishes that parties to a loan agreement cannot demand special or preferential treatment regarding prepayments, and that any prepayment made must be distributed proportionally among all lenders. In practice, this means if a borrower decides to pay off part of the loan early, the payment is allocated to each lender based on their share of the total loan, rather than favoring one lender over others. This clause ensures fairness among lenders and prevents disputes by guaranteeing that all parties are treated equally in the event of early repayments.
