Common use of No Bribes or Kickbacks Clause in Contracts

No Bribes or Kickbacks. Construction Manager shall not by any means: (i) induce any person or entity employed in the construction of the Project to give up any part of the compensation to which that person or entity is entitled; (ii) offer to accept any bribes or kick-backs in connection with the Project from or to any individual or entity, including any of its consultants; or (iii) without the express written permission of Owner in accordance with Owner’s policy on the subject, call for or by exclusion require or recommend the use of any subcontractor, consultant, product, material equipment, system, process or procedure in which Construction Manager has a direct or indirect proprietary or other pecuniary interest.
