No-Cost Extensions Sample Clauses

A No-Cost Extension clause allows a party to extend the duration of a contract or project without requiring additional funding. Typically, this provision is used when unforeseen circumstances delay project completion, but the original budget remains sufficient to cover the extended period. The clause outlines the process for requesting and approving such extensions, often requiring written notice and justification. Its core function is to provide flexibility in project timelines while maintaining budget discipline, ensuring that delays do not automatically result in increased costs.
