The Construction Manager shall not be relieved of responsibility for deviations from requirements of the Contract Documents by the Project Designer’s approval of Shop Drawings, product data, samples or similar submittals unless the Construction Manager has specifically informed the Project Designer in writing of such deviation at the time of submittal and the Project Designer has given written approval to the specific deviation.
