Common use of NO JOINT VENTURE; LIMITED AGENCY Clause in Contracts

NO JOINT VENTURE; LIMITED AGENCY. The services provided by Servicer are in each case those of an independent contractor providing a service. Nothing contained in this Agreement: (i) shall constitute Servicer and Owner as members of any partnership, joint venture, association, syndicate, unincorporated business or other separate entity; (ii) shall be construed to impose any liability as such on Servicer or Owner or (iii) shall, except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement as to Servicer, constitute a general or limited agency or be deemed to confer on it any express, implied or apparent authority to incur any obligation or liability on behalf of the other.
