Common use of NO LIENS; PERMITTED CONTESTS Clause in Contracts

NO LIENS; PERMITTED CONTESTS. Tenant shall not cause or permit any liens, levies or attachments to be placed or assessed against any portion of the Premises or the operation thereof for any reason. However, Tenant shall be permitted in good faith and at its expense to contest the existence, amount or validity of any lien upon any portion of the Premises by appropriate proceedings sufficient to prevent the collection or other realization of the lien or claim so contested, as well as the sale, forfeiture or loss of any of the Premises or any rent to satisfy the same. Tenant shall provide Landlord with security satisfactory to Landlord in Landlord's reasonable judgment to assure the foregoing. Each contest permitted by this Section 5.5 shall be promptly and diligently prosecuted to a final conclusion by Tenant.
