Common use of No Personal Recourse Clause in Contracts

No Personal Recourse. No recourse shall be had for any claim based on the Agreement or the Bond against any member, officer or employee, past, present or future, of the Issuer or of any successor body as such, either directly or through the Issuer or any such successor body, under any constitutional provision, statute or rule of law or by the enforcement of any assessment or penalty or by any legal or equitable proceeding or otherwise. No covenant, stipulation, obligation or agreement of the Issuer contained in this Agreement shall be deemed to be a covenant, stipulation, obligation or agreement of any present or future officer, employee or agent of the Issuer in his individual capacity, and any officer, employee or agent of the Issuer executing the Bond shall not be liable personally thereon or be subject to any personal liability or accountability by reason of the issuance thereof

No covenant, stipulation, obligation or agreement of the Issuer Authority contained in this Agreement shall be deemed to be a covenant, stipulation, obligation or agreement of any present or future officer, employee or agent of the Issuer Authority in his individual capacity, and any officer, employee or agent of the Issuer Authority executing the Bond shall not be liable personally thereon or be subject to any personal liability or accountability by reason of the issuance thereof. This provision shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
