Common use of No Prior Assignment of Released Claims Clause in Contracts

No Prior Assignment of Released Claims. The Parties hereby covenant that none of the Released Claims has been assigned to any other person, and that no other person has any interest in any of the Released Claims. In the event any other person asserts any interest with respect to the Released Claims, then the Party breaching this covenant shall indemnify the Party against whom such claim is asserted for any and all damages, costs, and fees.
