No Renovation or Installation. Alteration or renovation of the VIU Student Residence facilities, furniture, fixtures or equipment is not permitted. You are responsible to pay the costs of repairing all damage to the Room or VIU Student Residence caused by the installation and removal of any furnishing or equipment installed by you, whether installed with or without VIU’s consent. You are also liable for any damage to property of others and for any injury to or death of any person caused by the installation, existence or removal of any furnishing or equipment installed by you, whether installed with or without VIU’s consent.
