No Reservation; Interpretation. Submission by Landlord of this instrument to Tenant for examination or signature does not constitute a reservation of or option for lease. This Lease will be effective as a lease or otherwise only upon execution and delivery by both Landlord and Tenant. The terms and conditions of this Lease represent the result of negotiations between Landlord and Tenant, each of which were represented and/or had the opportunity to be represented by independent legal counsel and neither of which has acted under compulsion or duress; consequently, the normal rule of construction that any ambiguity be resolved against the drafting party shall not apply to the interpretation of this Lease or of any exhibits, addenda or amendments hereto.
