Common use of No Surrender Clause in Contracts

No Surrender. Tenant waives any right of redemption or relief from forfeiture under California Code of Civil Procedure Sections 1174 and 1179, or under any other present or future law in the event Tenant is evicted or Landlord takes possession of the Premises by reason of an Event of Default. No act or thing done by Landlord or Landlord's Agents during the Term shall be deemed an acceptance of a surrender of the Premises, and no agreement to accept a surrender shall be valid unless in writing and signed by Landlord.
