No Transfer; Term Sample Clauses
The "No Transfer; Term" clause prohibits either party from transferring or assigning their rights or obligations under the agreement to another party without prior consent, and also defines the duration of the agreement. In practice, this means that neither party can sell, assign, or otherwise transfer their interest in the contract, and the agreement will remain in effect for a specified period unless terminated earlier under certain conditions. This clause ensures that both parties maintain control over who they are contracting with and provides certainty regarding the length of their contractual relationship, thereby preventing unwanted changes in parties and clarifying the agreement's timeframe.
