Common use of Non-Availability of Vehicles Clause in Contracts

Non-Availability of Vehicles. Should the Contractor encounter mechanical difficulties that would otherwise prevent the scheduled completion of a scheduled pick-up, the contractor shall immediately obtain a suitable substitute vehicle at no additional cost to the Government. Non-availability of suitable vehicles shall not constitute acceptable justification for late pickup or delivery, or for additional costs to the Government.
