Common use of NON-COMPETITION, NON-SOLICITATION AND NON Clause in Contracts

NON-COMPETITION, NON-SOLICITATION AND NON. INTERFERENCE 8.1 Acknowledgment of the Executive. The Executive acknowledges that: (a) the services to be performed by him under this Agreement are of a special, unique, unusual, extraordinary, and intellectual character; (b) the Employer's business is international in scope and its products are marketed throughout the world; (c) the Employer competes with other businesses that are or could be located in any part of the world; (d) Craftmade has required that the Executive make the covenants set forth in this Article VIII as a condition to the Merger; and (e) the provisions of this Article VIII are reasonable and necessary to protect the Employer's business.
