Common use of NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE GRANT BY AMBRX Clause in Contracts

NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE GRANT BY AMBRX. Ambrx hereby grants to Novocodex a non-exclusive right and license in the Field in any mutually approved jurisdiction outside the Territory, under the Licensed Intellectual Property Rights, for the sole purpose of conducting regulatory activities for Phase I Clinical Data in said jurisdiction for the Licensed Products; provided that the Joint Steering Committee may amend such jurisdiction from time to time.

NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE GRANT BY AMBRX. Ambrx hereby grants to Novocodex a non-exclusive exclusive, sub-licensable subject to Section 2.9.1, royalty-free right and license in the Field in any mutually approved jurisdiction outside the Territory, under Ambrx’s interest in the Licensed Intellectual Property RightsAmbrx Improvements, to use, develop and exploit Ambrx Improvements only for the sole purpose of conducting regulatory activities for Phase I Clinical Data in said jurisdiction for the Licensed Products; provided that the Joint Steering Committee may amend such jurisdiction from time to time.
