Common use of Non-Release During Term Clause in Contracts

Non-Release During Term. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, in the event of any assignment of this Lease, Tenant shall not be released or discharged from any liability, whether past, present or future, under this Lease (provided, that, an assignment to Landlord pursuant to Section 13(c) shall serve to release Tenant from any liability under this Lease first arising from and after the date of such assignment).
