Common use of Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Charge Clause in Contracts

Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Charge. For any check that is returned for non-sufficient funds, written on a closed account, or that is unpaid for other reasons caused by the tenant, CMHA will pass on any bank fees to the resident in addition to the late fee. If more than two (2) NSF payments are received within a twelve month period; no further checks will be accepted from the resident.
