Common use of Nondiscrimination by the Consultant Clause in Contracts

Nondiscrimination by the Consultant. The Consultant represents and agrees that the Consultant, its affiliates, subsidiaries, or holding companies do not and will not discriminate against any subcontractor, consultant, employee, or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, handicap, national origin, ancestry, creed, physical disability (including HIV and AIDS), medical condition, age, marital status, denial of family and medical care leave, and denial of pregnancy disability leave. Such nondiscrimination shall include, but not be limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, transfers, recruitment, recruitment advertising, layoff, termination, rates of pay, or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship.
