Common use of Nonprofit Status Clause in Contracts

Nonprofit Status. The School shall be organized and operated as a nonprofit corporation under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A, as amended. Notwithstanding any provision of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 317A, as amended, the School shall not take any action inconsistent with the Charter School Act or in derogation of the School's status as a public school.

The School is required to maintain an “Active” nonprofit status with the State of Minnesota at all times.
