Common use of Nontransferability of Option Clause in Contracts

Nontransferability of Option. The Option shall not be sold, transferred, pledged, assigned, or otherwise alienated or hypothecated, other than by will or by the laws of descent and distribution and shall be exercisable during the Optionee's lifetime only by the Optionee.
