Normal Work Year. The normal work year for the Administrator shall be Two Hundred Sixty (260) days between July 1 and June 30 annually which will include all student attendance days and teacher work days. The Administrator shall not be entitled to any additional paid days unless specifically required to work beyond the Two Hundred Sixty (260) day contract by the Superintendent or the Board.
Normal Work Year. The normal work year for the Director shall be Two Hundred Sixty (260) days between July 1 and June 30 annually which will include all student attendance days and teacher work days, as well as Winter and Spring breaks and snow days.
Normal Work Year. The normal work year for the Specialist shall be Two Hundred Sixty (260) days between July 1 and June 30 annually which will include all student attendance days and teacher work days, as well as Winter and Spring breaks and snow days.
Normal Work Year. The normal work year for bus drivers shall be according to the established student attendance days according to the school calendar as established by the Board of Education and shall be consistent with language regarding Bargaining Unit Members break periods, holidays, vacations, and pay schedules as listed in this Agreement.
Normal Work Year. The normal work year is two thousand and eighty (2,080) hours to be accounted for by each employee through:
a. Xxxxx worked on assigned shifts b. Holidays
Normal Work Year. A normal work year for school term employees shall generally follow the school calendar.
Normal Work Year. The normal work year for all full-time faculty, excluding those in the Library, includes the Fall and Spring semesters and shall begin with the first day of the final enrollment services period in the Fall (not to be more than ten (10) days prior to the start of classes) and shall end after the Spring commencement exercises for the faculty member’s unit. The normal work year does not include University holidays or the January intersession, except that faculty are expected to be available during the January final enrollment services period for the Spring semester. The work year for the Library shall be as set forth in Article 9 of this Agreement.
Normal Work Year. 1. The normal academic work year for Faculty will be 174 days. Six (6) paid holidays are included in the paid days for each contract year.
2. Paid holidays shall include Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day plus the following Friday, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Day, Presidents’ Day, and Memorial Day.
3. Two days will be designated prior to the start of fall term and one day prior to winter term for the sole purpose of classroom preparation.
4. At least 10 days before adoption, a draft of the College’s master calendar will be developed and circulated to employees for input prior to final adoption.
Normal Work Year a. The normal contract year (for the academic years 2018–2019 and 2019–2020), except as noted in Article 22.B.1.d and 22.B.1.e below, shall not exceed 175 days, including paid holidays. Year 1 (2017– 2018) of this Agreement refers to 180 days.
b. The work year may be scheduled in any three terms during an academic year (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring); however, a teaching assignment will normally be for Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. With the consent of the full-time faculty member hired prior to June 30, 2005, or for any full-time faculty hired after that date, assignments may include any three terms of the academic year. In this circumstance, because of the unusual scheduling that occurs during summer term, the faculty member will be consulted prior to official assignment and schedule determination. A faculty member who works Summer term as part of their contract will be credited for 55 days. The 175 days are counted in the following manner: Term Instructional Days Holidays College Closure Summer 54 1 Since 175-day faculty normally work three of the four quarters, the total of the instruction days and holidays for those three quarters is 164 days. In addition, faculty are expected to work eight (8) days during Fall In-Service. Faculty members may select days indicated as non-teaching duty days on the academic calendar to be their xxxx days with the exception of instructional days, holidays, college closure days, and days which are part of Fall In-Service.
Normal Work Year. Effective the 2004-05 school year, the normal work year shall consist of 186 normal work days for Teachers (181 student contact days), except for Teachers assigned to positions as Guidance Counselors, Program Leaders, Department Chair Persons and Career/Vocational Education Teachers, for whom the normal work year shall consist of 196 normal work days.
