Not an Entitlement Clause Samples
The "Not an Entitlement" clause clarifies that the rights, benefits, or opportunities described in the agreement do not automatically guarantee a party's entitlement to receive them. In practice, this means that even if certain services, payments, or privileges are mentioned, they may be subject to additional conditions, approvals, or discretion of the other party. This clause serves to manage expectations and prevent parties from assuming they have an unconditional right to specific benefits, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over perceived promises or obligations.
Not an Entitlement. Nothing in the Plan, in this Agreement or any other instrument executed pursuant thereto shall confer upon the Optionee any future right or entitlement to additional grants under this Plan or any other Plans the Stratus Group might adopt in the future.
