Note for plumbers. Travelling time and expenses shall be paid from the lodgings to the place of work. Payment for travelling time in accordance with § 7-2, subsection 5. A daily allowance will be paid for walking time, travelling time and travelling expenses for travelling to and from home and the place of work. Employees who live nearer the site than 7.5 km, are not entitled to remuneration for walking time, travelling time and travelling expenses.
1. When transport is arranged by the employee her/himself
a) For distances from 7.5 to 15 km: NOK 93.00
b) For distances from 15 to 30 km: NOK 154.00
c) For distances from 30 to 45 km: NOK 180.90
d) For distances from 45 to 60 km: NOK 207.00

2. When transport is arranged by the employer

This provision is not intended to have consequences for practice of existing travelling and walking time rules.

When making such agreements proper consideration shall be given to the health and safety of the employees and also the length of travelling time. Young employees and apprentices shall be paid a reduced allowance corresponding to 85% of the above rates.
