Common use of Notice and Extent of Claim Clause in Contracts

Notice and Extent of Claim. If the Contractor wishes to make a claim for an increase in the Contract time, written notice as provided herein shall be given. The Contractor's claim shall include the cost associated with the extension and effect of delay on progress of the Work. In the case of a continuing delay, only one (1) claim is necessary. Any claim for time must include a fragmentary schedule as described in 38(h)(1)(a).
