Common use of Notice of Environmental Damage Clause in Contracts

Notice of Environmental Damage. The Borrower shall, promptly upon acquiring knowledge thereof, notify CIBC of the discovery of any contaminant or of any release of a contaminant into the environment from or upon the land or property owned, operated or controlled by the Borrower which could reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.
